The Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara is pleased to announce the winners of the 2005 Law Day Poster Contest. Each year the court invites K-12 students from all Santa Clara County public and private schools to submit posters reflecting that year's Law Day theme. The theme for 2005 is: "The American Jury: We the People in Action". Over 600 schools were invited to participate, and these winning entries were selected by a panel of judges and staff from the court. Presiding Judge Alden Danner and Chief Executive Officer Kiri Torre visited each participating school to present awards to the winners and certificates to all entrants.
