Family Court Dept 71 News Family Court matters assigned to Department 71 will be transferred to the new South County Courthouse opening in Morgan Hill in early 2009 - see Transfer Notice. Parties can ask to have their case assigned to North County (the Sunnyvale Courthouse) rather than South County, using the Stipulation and Order re Transfer form. Family Court now in Sunnyvale: Two Family Law Departments, the Family Clerk's Office and the Self Help Center, are now open in Sunnyvale. Family cases online - Public Access website If you would like to see information about a particular case or find out about a hearing date, click here to visit our public access Case Info website. However, you will not be able to look up information on confidential cases, including cases involving adoptions, mental health issues and custody petitions for parents who have not married. Getting Help For help understanding Family Court processes and to learn about Resources that can help you, visit the Court’s Self-Service Family Website. You can get help in person at the Self Service Center Office in downtown San Jose.
